Using Patterns

Patterns is something that looks great on layout! It gives the layout a really cool effect! Try different things, play around with it and get to know how it works:)

Step 1: Start by making a layout. Here's the picture/layout I will show how to put patterns on:


Step 2: Go to the Materials Palette and click on the main color:


Step 3: Choose Pattern, the button looks like this: . Then choose a pattern you think looks nice from the little menu.

Step 4: Click Layers >> new Raster Layer. Then use the Paint Brush tool, which looks like this: , to add the pattern on the layout on the places you want it to be on. Here's how my picture looks like now:


Step 5: Go to your layer palette. Change the Opacity of the patternt layer to something you think looks nice. Here's my layer palette.


Step 6: Then you're finished. Here's my result:
