Grungy Effect
Ever wondered how to get those small kinda dot thingys? Here's how you do it. It makes your layouts look more grungy and cool.
Step 1: Start by making a layout, or just open a picture you want to use in Paint Shop Pro. Here's the picture I'll be using for this tutorial:
Step 2: Click
Image >> Decrease colour depth >> 2 colour (1 bit).
Step 3: A new window will appear. Here you have to select
Grey Values and
Ordered dither. If you don't know what I mean, just change your settings so they look like mine:
Step 4: Click
Ctrl + C, to copy your picture, then click
Ctrl + Z, to undo the decrease of the colours and then click
Ctrl + L, to paste the picture you just copied as a new layer on top of your firt picture.
Step 5: Change the
opacity of your new layer to 20%. Your layer palette should look like this:
Step 6: Here's my finished picture:
