Grid Effect

Grid effect is an effect you can use on layouts etc. Follow the tutorial and you'll learn how to do it.
Step 1: Start by opening the picture you're going to use in Paint Shop Pro. Here's my picture:


Step 2: Click View >> Grids.

Step 3: The lines appearing are not a part of the layout. But to make them a part you have to press the Print Screen button. Then press Ctrl + V to paste it as a new layer. Then copy only the part with your picture and paste it onto your first picture. So you'll have the same picture two times, but one of them have grids.


Step 4: Go to View >> Grids once again to hide the grids.

Step 5: Choose the top layer (the picture with the grids), go to Layer >> Properties, and change the settings to Hardlight at 49% opacity. Your layer palette will look like this:


Step 6: You should be finished now, if you've done it right, here's how it will look:
