Gradient Overlay

Gradient overlayes looks GREAT on layouts! I love the effect, and I know many of you guys do it to!

Step 1: Start by making your layout or just opening a picture you want to use in Paint Shop Pro. Here's the picture I'm going to use:


Step 2: Now make a new raster layour by clicking Layers >> New Raster Layer.

Step 3: Click on the color palette and select a gradient. Fill the new layer with a gradient.

Step 4: Go to Layers >> Properties. And change the settings from normal to Color (L). Change the Opasity to something you think look nice and you're done! Here's my result
