Glow Effect

Here's a cool effect you can use on your layouts etc. It makes the picture glow.

Step 1: Start by making the layout you want to have the glow effect on or just open a picture you want to use in Paint Shop Pro.


Step 2: Dublicate the base, you do this by clicking Layers >> Dublicate.

Step 3: Go to the upper bar, and click Adjust >> Softness >> Soft Focus. A new window will appear, here you can match your settings to mine:


Step 4: You can leave the picture this way or if you want you can make it even better (I think). Go to your layer palette and change the settings on the top layer. You can dubbleclick it or choose Layer >> Properties on the top bar. Then change the settings to Overlay at 80%.


Step 5: Now you're finished. Here's my result:
