Dropshadow Text

Dropshadow text is something I use very often when I'm making layouts. It's very useful if you want a text, but the background has almost the same color as the text, just put dropshadow on it, and you can se the text more clarely.

Step 1: The first thing you do is to write the text you want, with the color, font and size of your choise.


Step 2: Now use the Selection Tool, whic looks like this: , to mark a rectangle around the text.

Step 3: When you have done that, just click on the text and the marking will close up on the text.

Step 4: Click Effects >> 3D Effects >> Drop Shadow....

Step 5: A new window will appear, and it is here we make the dropshadow. I recommand that you try out different settings to get used to how it workes, but if you like my outcome, then let your settings be like mine:


Step 6: Then just to click OK and the text should be done. Here's how my text turned out:
