On this page i will try to explain as good as I can how to make 3D text in paint shop pro. It looks very cool and many are using it on their sites.

Step 1: Open paint shop pro, then click on a new dokument, which looks like this: . A new window will appear, choose non-transparent and a proper size. If you want to you can actually just put the 3d-text straight on your layout.

Step 2: Now you can write the text you want, by clicking on the text tool, which looks like this:

Step 3: Choose fontsize, color and font type before clicking ok.


Step 4: Use the selection tool, which looks like this: , and mark a rectangle around the whole text.

Step 5: After you've done that, click on your text once and then the marking will close up on the letters.

Step 6: Go to the toolbar on the top of the page and choose Effects >> 3d effects >> Inner Bevel.

Step 7: A new window will appear and it's here you do the text 3D. The best thing is for you to test out how it works and choose the settings you like. If you want the text to look like mine, then use the settings I have under:


Step 8: Then you just click "ok" and the 3d text will apear! save the picture as a .gif file and then you can upload it. Here's how my text turned out:
