Smart FTP is the program I use for my website. It is easy to understand and it is free. Go to this website if you want to download it.

Step 1: First you have to get your log-in information from your host. Then click File >> New Remote Browser.

Step 2: Fill out the form with your log-in information. Then click ok and you will be connetcted to your website.

Step 3: To upload files you have to open a Local Browser (if it is not already open). You can do this by clicking File >> New Local Browser.

Step 4: Now we can start transfering files. Click on the file you want to trasfer in the local browser. Then find the place you want it to go n the remote browser. Click on the little arrow in the middle when you are ready top transfer it to your website.


Step 5: This is basicly the way it works, now you can try a little bit on your own to learn more about it.
