Cutenews is a little simple blogging system. It is actually quite easy when you get to know it. Here's how you install cutenews:

Step 1: Go to this website: www.cutephp.com and download cutenews to your computer.

Step 2: Unzip the cutenews file. You can use Winzip or some other program.

Step 3: Upload the folder to your webhosting account by using FTP. When all the files is done transfering you have to change some properties.

Step 4: Now right click on the index.php file, select Properties / CHMOD. A new window will appear, Change it to 777.

Step 5: Also the whole Data folder has to be CHMOD to 777. Just right click on the data folder, select Properties / CHMOD and change it to 777.

Step 6: Go to your cutenews homepage: http://www.yoursite.com/cutenews/index.php

Step 7: You will now come to a page saying Cutenews Installer. Click on the Proceed Installation button. If you receive an error, make sure all the file I told you over has been CHMOD to 777.

Step 8: Fill out the form on the next page you come to. Then after you've clicked Proceed Installation you have to delete the inc/install.mdu file from your FTP.

Step 9: Then you are finished and can start logging in to your cutenews account.
