Here's a tutorial in animation shop! It will show you have to make typing text, it is not hard to do if you know how to do it:)

Step 1: I will show you from the beginning how to do it. I made a button in Paint Shop Pro first and then I opend it in Animation Shop 3.


Step 2: Select the Registration mark tool, which looks like this: (I actually don't know what it is for), I use it as a sort of ruler, so I can get the text on a streight line.

Step 3: Now choose the text tool, but before you add text, select the color you want it to have. Then click on the frame and add only the first letter of the name you're going to write.


Step 4: Then click on the dublicate button, which looks like this: . The first frame will then be dublicated and you can add the next letter.

Step 5: Repeat the same with the rest of the letters and you're done. Here's my finished button with typing text:
