Cape Tribulation

We didn’t have much time after leaving Thornton beach before the sun went down. We didn’t know if we wanted to drive all the way up to Cape Tribulation or if we should’ve turned back and tried to reach Mossman Gorge, which is another great place up there to visit. We ended up with Cape Tribulation cause we wouldn’t have reached Mossman in time. There wasn’t a lot to do there, but there was this amazing beach. I think it’s called coconut beach or something like that. We had a little walk along the beach before we headed back. Beautiful place. If we had been early enough we would have gone jungle surfing, that would have been so much fun, but it was all booked out. If you’re ever up there you should try it. I regret not doing it. You can read more about it here.

Cute sign leading to the beach from a camping place.

The road to the beach was almost a little creepy.

Mangroves going down in the water. Kinda cool.

This nasty thing was hiding under a coconut on the beach.

Beautiful butterfly we saw on our way back to the car.
