My costume is almost ready. I only need one more thing which I need to buy today before work. I actually only used things I had in my closet. Can you see what I’m going to be?

I just have to tell you about the most wonderful day in my life. Or at least one of the most fun days I’ve had in a long time.

It started with the presentations at school. We handed in our typography magazines. The feedback I got from my teacher was absolutely amazing. He told me that my magazine was the best one in the class(!!!). I was so happy, I just couldn’t believe it. Finally all my work is starting to pay off. Then I went to H&M, where I work, to meet up with a colleague. She needed help with her blog, so we went to a coffee shop to work with her codes. She payed for my food and coffee, sort of as a payment for doing the job. It was fun sitting there trying to figure out how to get everything correct. She was happy with the result, but I still have some coding left to sort out.

After two hours with my colleague, my father picked me up outside the coffee shop. We drove to the best burger shop ever to grab dinner. Than he drove me back to the apartment. I thought he wanted to go home, but instead he came back up with me and I colored his hair. LOL!!! I just love my dad! We had so much fun, you should have seen us. We laughed so hard, especially when he asked me to color his eyebrows. (I hope he doesn’t mind me telling you this. lol!) It turned out really good though.

When my dad had left I got ready to go out drinking with Mari, who’s back in Norway for a week. It was so nice to catch up with her again. After she moved to Liverpool it hasn’t been easy to stay in touch, even harder when she doesn’t have internet over there yet. I didn’t drink too much yesterday so I haven’t been hungover at all today. Perfect. I just loved yesterday! I went to bed with the biggest smile on face!

Finally done with my typography magazine, the presentations is tomorrow. The pages turned out great, I think. But when I tried to put them all together it didn’t turn out as I had hoped. It’s not easy when you have to glue everything together. Oh well, I’m just happy to be finished. Now I can really enjoy a weekend without school hanging over my shoulders.

Since we last spoke I’ve been working on the assignment we got at school last week. I’ve changed it a lot. Instead of writing about the font Futura, I’m now writing about a famous graphic designer called Sagmeister. After doing some research on him I got some cool ideas for my typo magazine. Under you can see some of the pages I’ve made so far. I still have tons of work left to do, since we have to have 12 pages in the magazine. This assignment is due on Thursday I have no idea how to get it done in time. I just have to work hard.

I’m so sorry for never updating. It’s hard when there’s so much going on in my life. If I’m not at school, I’m working at H&M and if I’m not there then I’m at home working on my school assignments. I barely have time to do anything. Just now I finally got time to wash some clothes, I don’t remember the last time I did. Well, I have to go back to my assignment, hello illustrator! Bye for now.

I really need to change my lifestyle. I never seam to get enough sleep. I never work out, I eat crapy food and my energy level is down to zero. School is killing me. Just when we’ve finished an assignment, we get a new one. I barely have time to breath in between. That’s why I haven’t been abel to update my site lately.

The new task we’re working on is a typographic magazine. It has to have 12 pages. We cannot use any photos or illustrations, only typo. And we can only use black and one other color. The text in the magazine has to have something to do with typography. I’m thinking of writing about a font: Futura. I made two pages yesterday, but the teacher said it wasn’t good enough. Everything you make has to have a reason behind it. And I didn’t have one, other than that it looks cool. lol! Here’s what I did:

I just need to sit down, clear my head, read about Futura, and try to come up with something that works and fits the font. I feel so stressed right now. Tomorrow morning we have to have two new pages done. God, give me strength.

On Friday I finished reading Brida by Paulo Coelho. I loved it. It’s the story of Brida and her pursuit of wisdom. She wants to learn magic and on the way she finds the love of her life, her second half. Beautiful written by Paulo as usual. I really like his books.

I’m in this place right now where I need to read before I go to bed. If I don’t, I just can’t go to sleep. Sounds weird, I know, but that’s how it is. I sleep so much better after I’ve read a few pages, then my mind is in the book and not wondering off thinking about stupid things. I bought a new book today, Salvadoreña by Cecilia Samartin. I read Ghost heart this summer and fell in love with it. Therefore I wanted to try another one of her books. I can’t wait to get started. Have you read it?

Stressfull days! Yesterday we got a new assignment which were due today. A real client wanted a profile (logo etc.) for their company. I sat at school working for 14 hours yesterday. It was so stressful. It’s a lot to get done in only one day. And to look at a Mac screen for 14 hours in a row is just too long, it really messes with your head.

All four classes got the same assignment, we are about 70 students (maybe more, maybe less, not sure), then 10 of the works would be chosen to send to the client. Everyone did a really good job and I think there were so many others better than mine. To my surprise my logo was actually chosen. I still can’t believe it. It had only gotten three votes from the students, but the teachers said that the client could like it.

I just disappeared for a week. Sorry about that. We had our presentations today for a school task. I’ve been working on it everyday for the last week, so I haven’t had the chance to speak to you. Now I’m back. A little tired, but really happy I’m finally done with this stupid task. I wasn’t a 100% happy with how it turned out, but I still have a time to fix it before our portfolios are due in December.

This weekend was so much fun. Charlotte and I went to the Guetta concert in Oslo Spektrum. I’ve never danced so much when I’ve been out. It was so great and he did an amazing job with the show. My legs are still sore from Saturday:P Here’s my outfit for that night:

I have made the awards this time actually, believe it or not. I know I still haven’t made the ones for photo challenge #1. I should do that soon, probably, if anyone’s missing them?

When I got home from school I put on the pattern pants I bought from H&M a while back. It turned out that I really liked it with the top and jeans shirt I was wearing today, so I figured I could wear it for school on Wednesday. What do you think?

Wow, I’ve been lazy with my site lately. There’s so much going on with school, work and everything these days. The photo challenge I started months ago should have been closed. I will close it tonight. If you want to join you still got time. Click here to read the rules.

Right now I’m at school. We are actually learning basic HTML and CSS. It’s so basic, too basic actually, and since I’ve been doing websites for almost six years I know it already. Hopefully I’ll learn something new:)

I’ll try to get better at blogging this week. I know how boring it is when you go to a blog and it haven’t been updated in a while. Now I have to get back to class. Have a nice day:)
