Hi guys. Today was first day at work after Christmas. The store was full of customers. Everyone came to return the clothes they got for Christmas. lol! Also the sale started today. People are always crazy when the Christmas sale starts.
I took a photo before I went to work to show you my outfit, but I didn’t have time to post it before work, I was in a rush. I managed to oversleep a little.

Everything is from H&M, except for the bracelet which is from Bianco.

I started a new icon challenge today. This time I don’t want any celebrity icons. I want you to make an icon of your pet. If you don’t have any pet you can take a photo of a friends pet of find a photo on the internet. The challenge ends January 17. You can read more about it here. Good luck:)

I’m still at my parents in Asker. I’m going home today though. Work tomorrow. Tomorrow will be crazy at H&M, everyone comes to change what they got for Christmas. Also the sale starts tomorrow, there are so much to do! I have to enjoy the rest of my last vacation day the best I can.

I went out earlier today to get some photos of all the snow here in Norway. It has been snowing for a couple of days now, you won’t believe how much snow it is. I think it’s almost 50 cm deep. I took my dog with me, look how cute he is!

I got a wireless mouse for my Mac, an external hardisk and a memory stick. I’m so happy, just what I wanted. And they look so cool!

Towels and new bedsheets. And of course a redken shampoo. Well, it was suppose to be a shampoo, but my mom managed to get the conditioner instead. She told me she will find a way to work it out though. I hope she does:)

God, where did December go? Or rather the time? I can’t believe it is Christmas tomorrow already. I have been working everyday since school ended. I’m actually working tomorrow as well. Only for three hours though. Then I’m going home to get my things, which I’ve just packed, then down to the train and home to my parents to celebrate Christmas.
I’m completely done with all my presents, under you can see some of them, the rest are at my parents already. Two of them are for me though, from some friends. Wonder what they’ve bought for me:)

Last Thursday I got my portfolio back from the teacher. I passed!:D
We didn’t get any grade but she told us how good we did. Low-in the middel-high. Three students in my class got a high rating. I was one of them! I’m so happy. Here’s all the tasks we have had this semester. Some of them have you seen already and some of them has been changed for the last feedback from the teachers.

This was our first assignment. Since you guys last saw it I have changed the color of the big R.

The second task I haven’t changed at all. I love how it looks already and so did the teachers.

This was the task I never did. I made it a couple of days before we were suppose to hand in our portfolios. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. The teacher didn’t have anything negative to say about it either. Click here to see my dummie.

I can’t believe it. She was so young, only 32 years old. Her mother found her unconscious in the shower This morning. Her heart had just stopped. Medical people arrived quickly, but didn’t manage to save her life. She was declared dead when the ambulance got to the hospital.

On Friday I went to the premiere of the new movie Avatar. I saw it in 3D. I fell in love with it. It has everything a good movie needs. It’s about a world called Pandora, here lives the people called Na’vi. They are blue, a little taller than humans, they have a tail and their own language. Humans have found their way to the planet and wants to make money on the stones from Pandora.

Jake Sully, the lead person of the movie, gets an avatar, which is a body that looks like the Na’vis. He get to know the Na’vi people and fall in love with a girl there. She teaches him everything about the nature, the language and how to live like them. I’m not gonna tell you anymore because you really have to go see this movie! I’m sure you’ll love it as much as me. Here are some photos from Avatar:

Christmas is a stressful time of year. People are running around from store to store to get the perfect gifts. At H&M we have thousands of people stopping by everyday. There are so much to do at work these days. I will be working everyday from now and till Christmas eve. I’m sure some last minute shoppers (usually men) will rush in the 24th because they haven’t bought all the presents yet. lol.

I decided to do my Christmas shopping yesterday. Just to get it out of the way. But when you’re out trying to shop gifts for family and friends it’s really hard not to buy anything for yourself. I of course ended up with a shirt and some cool tights. I managed to finish all my presents though, I’m so happy now I’m ready for Christmas eve:) What do you think of the outfit?

I finally finished layout challenge #2. It took me a while. Sorry about that. A lot of great entries this time. Hard to choose the winners as always. Congrats to everyone. Hi guys! I know I haven’t been around much lately. Last Friday we handed in my portfolio. I think it went okay. We’ll see on Thursday, when I’m going to have a talk with the teacher. I’m sure I did great. She can’t fail me, right?

After I last wrote to you I’ve been working and working and I’ve also been working some more. I counted the hours last night – 19,5 hours!!!! All these hours in just one weekend. Not weird I’m a bit tired. I’m going to work again later today. From now and to Christmas our store is open one hour longer that usual. Great news for the customers, not great news for me. Well, I’m done with this semester at school, I need money, so I shouldn’t complain. Did you guys do anything fun this weekend?

I was supposed to close the layout challenge yesterday, but I was just so tired. I went straight to bed when I got home from work. I will try to close it later today though. If I get the chance. I might even add a new icon challenge. I have some new cool textures for you, I’m just having difficulties with the scanner. It seems I have to buy a new scanner for my Mac, my old one only works on the PC. I will add them as soon as I find a way to get them scanned. lol.

It went okay with the helicopters today. They didn’t wake me up. Today they were a lot higher than yesterday. I could hear them but not as much as yesterday. Thank God. I had to get down to town though. The streets were filled with tons of crazy people who wanted to get a glimpse of Obama. I took my camera with me so that I could take some photos for you of all the action. I think I saw Obama when he got out from the castle. I was standing so far away so it was hard to tell if it was actually him.

This is right outside Grand Hotel, where Obama is staying. There were so many people here, hard to get through them when I was going down to school. Look at all the policemen with their guns.



All the collectively traffic had stopped totally. I have never seen so many busses and trams ((?) I’m not sure what it is called) in a line. There were many more but I didn’t manage to take a photo of them.

Here are a line of Swedish policemen. There were probably not enough in Norway so they were here to help.

When I took this photo Obama was in the castle visiting the King of Norway. That’s why all the people are standing there waiting for him.

I managed to take a photo of when he left the castle. He is in one of these cars. When he left all the people started running for his next destination, the town-hall, where he received the Nobel Peace Prize.

Tomorrow is Barak Obama visiting Norway for the Nobel Peace Prize. It’s cool that he’s coming to little Norway. But I’m not too fan of all the stuff going on in Oslo at the moment. I can hardly get to work these days. The security is extreme! They have set up tents all over with policemen who checks your bags and asks you where you’re going and what you are going to do there. It’s crazy!

When I was getting ready for work earlier today four helicopters were flying over my apartment. They flew so low and they didn’t seem to go any other place than right over my building. It was so load and really annoying. All the windows where vibrating, like they were about to break. The helicopter are not here right now, but if they’re coming back tomorrow morning I’m going to kill someone. There’s no way I can sleep with them over my head.

Other than the stupid security I think it’s cool he’s coming to Norway. Maybe I’ll see him tomorrow. I have to get down to the city tomorrow to get some school supplies. I’m sure it will take forever to get down there though. All the roads has been blocked. Anyways, I’m off to bed now. Talk to you later:)
