H&M has cooperates with Unicef since 2004. At Christmas time you get the chance to round up the amount when you shop at H&M. So if you buy for 298 NOK you can ask yo pay 300 NOK instead. Then the 2 NOK will go to Unicef. You can decide the amount yourself. If you want to give more just say so. It is a really good cause. It would be so nice if some of you would round up the amount next time you shop at H&M.

All we employees where a big button which says Round up?. Just ask us if you want to donate some money to Unicef. Last year we sold a scarf and 25 NOK of the price went to Unicef. We also had a little book you could buy to a child in Madagaskar. You only bought a piece of paper that symbolized that you had given the child a book. A really nice present to give in the holidays.

It was so fun yesterday. And it was really nice to see everyone again. I haven’t seen them since I worked there in the summer. The stand-up show was funny. Dagfinn Lyngbø (if you’ve heard of him). He talked a little bit too fast though and he had a dialect so it was hard to understand what he said sometimes. At one point I didn’t hear the joke, everyone was laughing and I sat there like a question mark. lol!

Tomorrow is the Christmas party with H&M in Asker. First we are going to a stand-up in Drammen, then dinner afterwards. I have two dresses and I’m not quite sure which one I’m going to wear. They are both great. The black one is new, no one has seen it on my yet. I think it looks great, but I’m not sure.
The other one have I worn about two times I think. But they have seen it on me before. I love it though.

Yesterday Wenche from H&M in Asker came to visit me. We made a good meal and just talked. It was really fun, I haven’t seen her in a long while. She slept over on my couch and today we went shopping. I’m so tired right now, we were all over town. I’m so happy with what I bought:)

I’m sorry for not blogging after Saturday. I had the worst hangover on Sunday and I was not in the mood to blog yesterday. I’m not going to drink in a long while. At least not as much. I have no memory from Saturday. I remember going out and into the club. I remember meeting my friend. But after that everything is blank. I hate myself sometimes. Why can’t I just stop drinking when I’ve had enough.

At least I have learned now. It is the worst thing not remembering what happened the night before. I woke up with the biggest bruise on my ass. WTF? And some scratches on my knee. God, what the hell have I been doing? I even managed to loose my cellphone battery. LOL! How is that possible? I bought a new one yesterday though. I love throwing money out the window…. not!

When I finally turned on my cellphone I had gotten all these messages from a guy, asking me if I got home safe and stuff. He told me that it was really nice to meet me last night. I have no idea who this person is. I can’t recall ever talking to him. I looked him up on Facebook and he was WEIRD! And when I checked the photos on my cellphone I had taken some photos of random people at 02:39. Again: I hate myself!

Next weekend we are going to have the annual Christmas party at H&M. I have to go, but this time I’m so going to take it easy and watch what I’m drinking. I don’t want to repeat what happened on Saturday. Sorry to all you underage people who read my blog. A little advice to you; Don’t start drinking! I’m a really bad example right now. I’m so ashamed:(

Finally, I have added all the tutorials! It took a while, but I’m finally done. Sorry for taking so long. And just so you know, some of the images in the tutorials isn’t working. I hope to fix that soon though. I’m just not sure when. It will take time. I’m sure you’ll understand the tutorials even if some of the screenshots is missing.

I haven’t added the Piczo tutorials yet. I’m thinking of just removing the whole section. What do you think about that? Piczo has change a lot since I used it myself so I’m sure all the tutorials are unnecessary.

I have also finally made the awards for icon challenge #2. Sorry for taking so long. I totally forgot I hadn’t made them yet. But they’re up now. So go pick up yours:)

It’s time for our fifth and last task before Christmas. I’m having a hard time deciding what to do. We have to make two bookdesigns. It’s hard enough making just one and we have to make two. I haven’t even decided what books to redesign. It feels like I’m struggling with every task we get. I’m sure you feel the same way, since I’m always writing about it.

I hate the teacher we have on this task. She hasn’t helped me at all and she doesn’t give any helpful feedback. My mom is coming over later today with some books I maybe can use. I really want to try some new techniques on this task. I always use a texture and then add some stuff to it, just like the poster I did for my last task. Maybe I could use a photo. I’m thinking of making a wine book. Which could look really cool with a photo of a whine glass. I hope my mom has some good ideas for me. I need it!

Here’s one of the sketches I’ve made so far. It’s for a book called the half brother (Halvbroren) of Lars Saabye Christensen. I’ve read it a long time ago and it is a good book. This is a good example of what I mean with the texture and stuff. I like the look of it though. This is the kind of design I like. That’s probably why I always use the style. The teacher didn’t even comment on it. She said we had to do sketches by hand, but I much rather prefer using the Mac.

Yesterday I told you that I would try to get most of the tutorials up from my old site. I didn’t get so far. I think I added about 20 more or so. Some of the screenshots for the tutorials are not working. I think I have deleted them from my old computer, so I have to make some new ones. Which means I have to turn on my old crapy computer to get access to Paint Shop Pro again. It sucks! And I never find time to do it. I just hope you’ll manage without the screenshots for a little while.

Anywho, I’m off to bed now. School day tomorrow. Good night, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite;)

I’m sure our third room is jinxed!
The first girl that stayed there, stayed for three months. She didn’t live there though. She payed the rent and lived at her parents. Then she “moved” out. A friend of mine from H&M in Asker moved in right after her. She had already signed a contract on another apartment so we knew she wouldn’t stay very long. We though she would be there for at least over new year. But she got a call from the owner a few weeks ago and now she is moving in there December 1st.

Since we have no other friends looking for a place to live we had to put up an ad on the internet. OMG, there are so many weird people out there. We had a couple of swedish people, a british guy and some norwegians looking at the apartment. The British guy smelled so bad. I don’t think he has ever heard of deodorant or showering. It was really bad. We would have chosen for him if it weren’t for the smell. The last guy looking at the apartment was Swedish, he talked without breathing and everything he said was in one sentence. Really hard to understand. He talked about all the parking tickets he had gotten and all the jobs he got fired from. Not a smart move when you want to make a good impression. He was weird! I would never have let him stay in the apartment alone. God knows what he would have done. We ended up with a 22 year old Swedish girl. She was easy to talk to and seemed very nice. I wonder how it will be living with her.

Yesterday I was so frustrated! My site looked totally messed up in Internet Explorer. Thanks to Greg I managed to fix it. There were some other complications, but I managed to figure them out as well. I’m really proud of myself and I’m so thankful for the tip I got from Greg. Now my site looks identical in IE, Firefox and Safari. I’m so happy:)

I ended icon challenge #2 yesterday. I’m not sure if any of you’ve noticed. I didn’t have time to blog. Congratulations to the winners. You all did an amazing job. And all of you followed the rules really well. I will make the awards later today. Right now I’m at school. We’re learning more about inDesign.

After school I’m going home to Asker to eat dinner with my parents. I haven’t been home for several months so I’m really looking forwards to a nice quite evening with good food. I’m going to take my Mac with me so most of the tutorials missing will be up by the end of the day:)

Oh no! There is something wrong with my coding. In internet Explorer and Firefox it’s all wrong. It works fine in Safari though. I have to try to fix it when I get home. I have no idea how though. Does anyone know?

I know there are tons of things wrong with my coding. I have tried to fix some of it but there are tons I haven’t managed to fix. That’s probably why it doesn’t work in some browsers.

I’m at school right now, that’s why I can’t fix my website at the moment. Today we are going to learn inDesign. I have never used the program before so I have to pay attention. I will talk to you later. Glad you like mye new layout. I’m actually satisfied this time:) I didn’t have time to end icon challenge #2 yesterday. I will end it when I get home. Some of you may have noticed that I closed my site for a little while today. I had to, so that I could change the layout and make it proper. I had to try out some different codes to get it the way I wanted. I know the layout is quite simple, but that’s what I was going for. The image I have used of me has been traced in Illustrator to get the effect. I think it turned out pretty cool. What do you think?

Look at the beautiful bag I bought today. Of course it is Jimmy Choo. I fell totally in love with it! Maybe not such a good idea, it was quite expensive. I just had to have it though. I thought I could use it when I need to have my Mac with me to school or other places. I love that it’s so big. I usually wear small handbags. What do you think of it?
